Every comparison is a real page: a verdict, live prices at all three stores for both games, and what each one costs per hour you'll actually play.

    Questions, answered

The short version. The long version lives on About and How we rank.

    Is LazyComparo really free?
Yes. No account, no sign-up, no trial and no paywall — every comparison, verdict and live price is open to anyone who loads the page.
Then how does it make money?
It doesn't. No ads, no affiliate links, no sponsored placement and no way to pay for a better position, so nothing is ranked, boosted or hidden because of money. Running costs are about S$3 a month, paid out of pocket. If that ever changes it will be disclosed on About and marked where it appears, before it ships.
Where do the prices come from?
Steam's own store endpoint for prices and review scores, Epic's promotions feed for the weekly free games, and IsThereAnyDeal for cross-store prices and historical lows. They are fetched at request time and cached at the edge for up to about 30 minutes — never hand-typed. The store's own page is always the authority before you pay.
Which country's prices am I seeing?
Your own. Steam, Epic and GOG each price by region, so the site asks the store what it charges where you are instead of converting a US figure — and the value bands and budget sliders convert with it. Add ?cc=US to any page to look at another region.
How do you decide what's worth buying?
Games are ranked on price against review score and hours to beat, which gives a dollars-per-hour figure. Phones are scored on the priorities you set, minus a penalty for the friction of leaving iMessage, DeX or Samsung Cloud behind. Every weight and threshold is published — see how we rank.
Do I have to hand over any data?
No. There are no accounts, no cookies and no analytics; your shortlist and slider settings stay in your own browser and are never sent to us. The price lookups run on our server rather than in your browser, so the stores see us asking about a game, not you. Privacy & terms.
